Life

Never did I ever think that I would keep up with doing a blog, but I also didn't think I would let it ait this long. If it weren't for the link still being on my Facebook about me I don't think I would honestly remembered I even had a blog. Coy graduated from high school yesterday and I now need other things to start on to keep me busy. If I can figure out how to add a picture to this post I will add one of him from yesterday.

Still here...

I want to blog, I really do, but when to find the time. If  "Money Grew On
Trees" I am not sure I would still be able to find the time...haha.
We have been busy with Tanner and his baseball season winding up, and wrestling starting, and Coy is playing basketball.
Our biggest feat in the most recent past has been my Aunt JoAnn passed away in November. She was an awesome woman. She was an artist, animal lover, and my daddys best friend. We will miss her so much.
Well, I will be back....

Braces for Tanner

Yesterday was the big day for Tanner to get his braces. He has not been very excited, mainly because he doesn't want to wear a mouthguard during wrestling. By getting it done now, he will be out of them before high school wrestling. He complained about them last night and how he wants them off, but he did let me floss them, and he brushed like Pam L taught him. Dr. Black is his orthodontist, and he and Pam L were so good with him. So here we go into 18 months of this....he better take care of them "Because Money Doesn't Grow on Trees"

So the past 8 days have many bumps and brusies, literally. Last Thursday Coy fell in his baseball game and injured the growth plate in his humerus bone near te shoulder of his right arm. He is in a sling for two weeks. Then on Monday of this week we were at Owen Middle School for a conference playoff baseball game for Tanner and my father in law (Papaw) fell over the chain gate you had to step over to get in and out. It was very traumatic for me as we helped him and my childern were watching. He was taken by ambulance to Mission. Nothing was found to be broken, but I am positive he has a mild concussion. Then yesterday we were back at Owen for the championship game and Tanner was hit by a pitch just above his left elbow. Rarely will you see him show pain, it was tough to see. He is doing much better after icing and keeping it moving. They did not win the game, but it was a very tough fought game, and they lost 8-9 at the plate on a not so great call by the umpire that would have been the third out or the winning run...uggghhh.... I am now looking forward to a weekend of no baseball, though I think we may go watch the Enka Softball game tonight, it is their first playoff game:-) Enjoy the small things because "Money Dosen't Grow On Trees"

Music and Baseball

Last night was all about Coy:)
He had a music program at school@ 6, then a baseball game at 7:30. He is such a ham on the stage, and really enjoyed singing the folk songs. Sometimes it is hit or miss with his performance on the ballfield, but for the most part last night was great, though his tummy was hurting. It was a long night because the upset tummy turned into a stomach bug...ugggghhh....but it is great to have these fun things to do with your kids....because you know "Money Doesn't Grow On Trees"

Starting Anew

So my creative mind tells me I should work on my blog more, and to post those ideas I know will be beneficial to others. My husband got us the new Galaxy Tab 10.1, so now I will have more freedom to be able to create this blog. Today is my last day of 11 days off. My oldest has an orthodontist appointment today. This is for his consultation. So everything from crafts to braces I hope to share... Have a creating kind of day :-)
